The proposal came from one of the graduate officers, in recognition of his outstanding contribution to establishing the Lyceum, his many years of leadership and his standing among all members of the Association.
In his response, Sabit Taulanov assured everyone that in spirit he would always be with the Lyceum and with the Arystan graduates into whom he had put his soul and all his knowledge and skills.
In 2022 he handed over the leadership of the Lyceum, and since then he has taken part in graduates’ lives precisely as an Honorary Member of the Association: the voice of the Lyceum’s first head, not of its current leadership.
