The Lyceum’s first class sat the UNT (Unified National Testing) with 79 students. The average score was 92.57. 23 students scored between 100 and 125, and another 45 between 70 and 100.
Graduates entered higher education institutions of the Ministry of Defence of Kazakhstan (the Military Institute of the Land Forces, the Military Engineering Institute of Radio Engineering and Electronics and the Military Institute of the Air Defence Forces), the Border Academy of the National Security Committee of Kazakhstan, and the academies of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kazakhstan in Almaty and Karaganda.
Part of the class went to universities abroad through the Ministry of Defence of Kazakhstan: in the USA, Turkey, the Russian Federation, the Republic of Belarus and Ukraine.
Among civilian universities in Kazakhstan, graduates entered Nazarbayev University, KIMEP, the Kazakh-British Technical University and the Kazakh National Technical University.
It was these very people who, a year and a half later, would gather at the Lyceum and create the Association.
