This was the first graduates’ meeting of an Association already up and running. 103 former lyceum students came in person, and others joined online from military universities in Kazakhstan and from abroad.
By this time the Association had university coordinators: graduates of the class of 2013 who took on keeping in touch with their classmates at their own institutions. This is the very model the Coordination Council still works by today: one representative from each university and each class.
A phrase was spoken at the meeting that has since spread through every class: being an Arystan graduate is a title for life, and to a lyceum student, every other lyceum student is a friend, a comrade and a brother.
